Hey people.
just wanted to give a shout out thanks to all the people that showed up at the rally on Saturday to make Bail more strict for rapists etc.. yup!
i msged 484 people on facebook and had about ... 0 of those people show up!
(well... 1 did.. though she was a little late and missed it..but hey..she made the effort.. so huge kudos out to Olya) ..
but yea.. not even any other neighbours on the street came out.. kinda a dissappointment.. when two people in a "civilized" society can get raped/murdered by a guy that the government placed beside them (two doors down from us) and no one cares enough to take the ride down town when politicians actually were there to see how much of a deal it was.
they got what they hoped... .0001% of the voting majority.. ie.. not a big issue .. and one less thing they have to worry about making false promises about next election.
sorry.. im just in such a good mood :)
it was nice that at least our family rallied out... wait.. nope.
thogh we did have my dad's old best man from his wedding show up.. which im 100% thankful for (no sarcasim on that part.. might be the second non sarcastic thing i said in this... wait... now three.. wait.. ahh.. you get the idea)
yea..
it was one of those things that i bet my uncle would have come down to.. even though it was sooo frigid cold.. he woulda showed up with his pneaumonia to support us for it.
the guy had so much support that he took his time to come see us the week before he died... while his body was fighting an infection that was already taking over his lungs.. his heart.. and his brain... and still he came to see us.
THAT is WHY.. i say the Hurford family has lost it's biggest comforter.. and biggest care giver.
i gotta go to bed.. but yea.. guess i got one word to say about it all
