Nov/06: James Bond: Casino Royale 9/10
such an awesome movie. Chase scenes were really well done, lots of Crazy Hot action, but also a very Cool movie. The new Bond, Daniel Craig, did a really good job filling the role, even though his build looks more like a musclular body builder ..instead of your typical slim athletic look for Bond...But a very good movie..VERY GOOD!!
Nov/06: Man of the Year 5/10
Some funny one-liners in it..and it was good politically, but nothing really grabbed me through the movie to make it special. Fun movie to maybe pass time, but once you've seen it..would you want to again?? prolly not.

i thought the dance moves were amazing, but the acting was kinda second class, and the plot was kinda ..well.. nothing special. But it was still fun to watch

I LOVED THIS MOVIE.. soo good. I dont know..maybe 9 is too high..but it hit exactly what i thought it would hit..an it lived up to expectations. It's supposed to be a movie about a bank robbery..and it was... the only dissapointing thing was the whole ending..it kinda..i dont know. They should have left the nazi stuff out of it..it didnt make sense

A must see, people who've read the book will enjoy it just as much as people who haven't. Computer animation is done really well, where its hard to tell at some points if they're using CG or real animals. Be prepared to be whisked away in this movie, into a land of adventure, an good and evil.
Dont Care if i Ruin it
if you've never read the book, expect something along the lines of the short version of Lord of the Rings. If you've seen the old version of the movie, be ready, i went in expecting a crummy remake, but instead of butchering the story, i think they improved on it. With new technology, they have done an amazing job with computer graphics, and the way they added little humour through out it, it just fit so well. :) I really enjoyed watching the movie, an i cant wait for the release to DVD.

Great Movie!! The Movie runs for about 3 hours, but it goes by so fast. The extra time put into character development I think is used wisely and if you cry easily..bring the box of tissues.
Dont Care if i Ruin it
The special effects were awsome, though some parts were a lil overboard in the unbelievable side (ie. Brantasauras(sp?) stampede scene) but it made it enjoyable. The movie reminded me kind of a Jurassic Park kind of feel, but in a good way :) Also i went in thinking..oh ..I know the whole story..i saw the old 30's version, but i must say that i was still taken on for the ride, hoping for a happy ending.

all i can say is dont expect an ACTION movie...cause i was
big disappointment..but then again, if you go expecting a political movie, a movie not about politics directly, but dealing with political issues, like what was the point of the gulf war, was there a reason to send over infantry? If your expecting a movie like that, you may like it.

the main problems i had with this movie was how i came out feeling. I left the theater hating women..HATEING....the movie leaves you with the impression of how all women are whores. This is contrary to my real belief, and thats why i found it so hurting to comeout feeling that way. How am i supposed to live my american (canadian) dream, if the basis of the dream all starts where i need to find a girl, sorry...a woman, that will be true to me indefinitely, if no such girl exists. The Movie Crushed me.
Also i'm waiting for the good action to start..SHOOT SOMEONE FOR GOODNESS SAKES...the movie has them being shelled, showing the numbers of US soldiers in Iraq growing , and yet nope..nothing..planes come in..the tension at the end is sooo hi....Congrats to the director for being able to show thefriggin tension and portray it to the viewer...cause the soldiers were there to see shooting, and us the viewers were there to see shooting..and both left dissappointed.
I guess i would have liked the movie a lil more if i had been expecting it..but then again..no....
its a good school, educational film, something for History to watch and like if your interested in the Gulf War, but when i went there as a viewer...ARGH..awful..im going to lower my rating actually, cause i just convinced mysefl from a 4 to a 2.5
